Dear Parents,

Thank you for your time in our session today! We ended the class with a discussion on screen time. To access the Screen Time tools I mentioned, click on the menu tab Resources  and scroll down to Screen time.

I’ve also included an explanation and video for the “big rocks” metaphor that you saw modeled in the video about winning cooperation.  You can find this under the Resources menu tab and then Videos.

I hope you find these tools helpful! Please let me know if you find the opportunity this week to use the Mistaken Goal Chart.

Have a lovely rest of your week and a very wonderful Eid Holiday! I will see you in class after Eid on Tuesday, May 10th.

I hope you are all well and enjoying the weekend!

 It was a pleasure to meet everyone  last week and I can’t wait for our next class,  coming up this Tuesday at 8:00 am in MS 115. 

To access the resources from our last session, please go to the Session #1 course page – located under the Course tab on the menu above. Here you will be able to access the google slides along with the homework and other resources/take home tools.

Hello Everyone!

I am looking forward to seeing all of you this morning! We will meet at 8:00am in Room 115, which is located in the Middle School building. 

In case you are not familiar with the Middle School building: 

When you enter the front gate of CAC, turn left towards the Middle School. Walk straight, past the Middle and High School Offices. Take the stairs, located on your left, up to the 1st floor. Once at the first floor, turn left and walk to the end of the hall. You will see MS 115 on your left. There should be signs to guide you. 

Please bring a pen or a pencil. We will have water and basic nescafe available.

Dear All,

This email is confirmation that you are officially enrolled in the course. 

This is an 8-week long course that begins on April 5th and ends on May 31st, 2022. Sessions will occur on Tuesdays, from 8:00 -10:30am in MS Room 115, which is located on Floor 1 of the Middle School building. 

We will be referring to the book, Positive Discipline, by Jane Nelsen, throughout the course.  It is highly recommended that you obtain a copy of  this book.  There are some copies available at the CAC library (ES or MS/HS). You can also purchase the book at Diwan bookstore or at www.amazon.eg.  Finally, you can always download the book on Audible or Kindle. 

The course is almost full and sign ups are still taking place. We will have a waiting list soon.  If you are unable to commit at this time, please let me know so we can open your spot to the next person on the list. 

I will be sending weekly emails to all participants and will add email addresses that are visible to everyone in the class. If you prefer to remain on bcc, please let me know.

I am thrilled that we are going to be spending 8 weeks together on this Positive Parenting journey! Looking forward to seeing everyone next Tuesday, April 5th, at 8:00 am in MS Room 115.
